Role Overview ...
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Assistant Controller and other members of the Accounting/Finance team to oversee and develop the accounting operations of the organization.

A day in the life...

  • Assist with all areas of monthly close process including reconciliation and maintenance of GL accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and perform account activity analysis.
  • Work closely with Payroll Specialist in timely/accurate posting of payroll journal entries.
  • Monthly reporting and reconciliation of travel and expense activity.
  • Work closely with FP&A team on monthly budget vs. actual analysis and review.
  • Comply with and monitor business processes and accounting policies to maintain formal internal controls.
  • Continued enhancement and documentation of formal internal controls.
  • Monthly reporting and reconciliation of a growing foreign entity.
  • Assist in special projects and ad-hoc requests in fast paced environment.
  • Assist in implementation and deployment of multiple software packages.

What we are looking for...

  • Bachelor's Degree; degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of previous accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience required.
  • CPA required.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP.
  • Ability to perform in a high growth, fast paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and work within a deadline oriented environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
