The Sr Manager, Marketing Technology is responsible for serving as a solution expert for the sales and marketing suite of applications and tools. Responsible for partnering with business leads to drive functional requirements, roadmap, architecture, design and testing for all sales and marketing solutions as well as own the sales and marketing data lake. He/she will lead and take functional ownership of the deliverables and partner cross-functionally with marketing colleagues, sales operations, and business development. He/she will be a subject matter expert in multiple areas to know context of user/system interaction to be an essential enabler located at the intersection of marketing, sales, and data.   

A day in the life…

  • Defining data flows and integrations between marketing technology systems and other enterprise platforms.
  • Drive the roadmap for marketing team in alignment with business strategies and priorities.
  • Guides data integration priorities for CRM and other marketing technology platforms.
  • Technical management, build, and configuration of systems and infrastructure (CRM, MAP, Martech tools/systems, custom, etc.).
  • Work across the entire marketing stack, willingly and with ease, to relentless promote and deliver scalable technical solutions to address business needs.
  • Maintain and develop micro services with architecture in Python and AWS serverless technologies that support data flow to SFDC.
  • Build and implement the marketing sales engine and technical implementation.
  • API integration development and management
  • Manage production and sandbox environments, configurations, and deployment methodologies.
  • Refine, build, and administer system integrations with marketing automation tools, CRM, CMS system, cloud and web tools, analytics systems, and additional databases
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Player/coach with the ability to execute and manage people
  • Deep understanding of the latest B2B marketing and sales technology platforms
  • Deep Marketing Automation Platform experience; Pardot preferred (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, Hubspot)
  • Someone who is eager to take responsibility, accountability and ownership of systems and processes
  • Able to adopt new technologies and willingness to self-learn those technologies quickly
  • Superior planning, organization, problem solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience establishing, maintaining, and delivering system documentation
  • Able to communicate and explain complex topics to any audience. 
  • Ability to translate feature requests into technical specifications and influence design and architectural decisions.
  • Help make the right feature trade-offs of build vs. buy.
  • Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with services using REST and open source frameworks.
  • Data warehouse architecture (i.e. data quality, metadata, ETL process)
  • Firm grasp of relational database concepts and constructs, database design, and data analysis with SQL.

Sr Mgr, Marketing Technology
