As a Software Engineer joining our team, you will be in charge of building client externally facing web application across entire stack of front-end and back-end technologies (Java, NodeJS, React). You will work with team of other 5 developers on mission of delivering a better healthcare experience to our members in US health-care market (almost 2Ms members).

A day in the Life…

  • Implementing new features both on front-end web SPA and back-end side enhancing our Accolade Cloud Platform
  • Working with new cloud and cutting-edge technologies (AWS, Elastic, NewRelic, React, Node.js) on new green-field projects
  • Working on web SPA used by hundreds of thousands of users on daily basis
  • Countinously improving our end-user experience (both UI/UX design and non-functional requirements – Performance, Reliability etc.)
  • Be part of Countinous delivery mission where your change is delived to production in minutes (after all automated tests are successfully executed J)
  • Working on own product and being proud of it (we are not a software factory)
  • Working on mission-critical project that has profile in company

Demonstrated education, skills and experience to be successful in this role:

  • Experience with building SPA applications (React,Redux,Node.Js)
  • Experience with building Java backend systems (Java, Spring, JPA)
  • Experience with database systems (relational or NoSQL)
  • Experience with microservices and cloud technologies (AWS, ELK, docker)
  • Experience and passion for TDD and CI/CD culture supported by feature flagging
